Margaret Egan is the Founder of Sinclair Barnes Limited, an independent Management Consultancy which specialises in developing Brand and Marketing Strategies for local and international clients.

Based in London, Margaret works with clients across a range of business sectors helping them to develop and implement brand strategies and marketing communications plans.

She is also an expert in conducting and managing international marketing research either as part of a larger strategic assignment or as a stand-alone project.

Recent clients include Crest Nicholson, The Zero Carbon Hub, New West End Company, The Energy Saving Trust, Westmark Developments, Informa Telecoms & Media, River Island Clothing Company, the British Museum, The Game Conservancy Trust, MARC Advertising (US) Randonnee Travel (Canada), Frantic Films (Canada), the McCann-Erickson Group, and the Canadian High Commission.

In addition to client work, Margaret Egan lectures on Marketing most recently in the MBA programmers of the London Business School and Fairley Dickinson University (New York). She is a member of the Institute of Directors.

She was formerly a Board Director and Group Strategy Director at McCann-Erickson Advertising and prior to that, Group Director at Kinnear Limited, a marketing consultancy where she handled the British Telecom account.

She has worked for the Ogilvy and Mather and J. Walter Thompson Groups across a number of disciplines including advertising, direct marketing, public relations and market research.

Margaret Egan was born and educated in Canada and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Urban Policy and Environmental Strategy.
